How Do I...

Under the “Public Resources” tab, select “Inmate Data Search.” If you know the inmate’s ADCRR number, select “Search by ADC Number.” If you only know the inmate’s name, select “Search by Name.” When searching for an inmate by name, make sure to select the correct status of the inmate: “Active” (currently incarcerated) or “Inactive” (no longer in ADCRR custody), “Supervised/Parole,” or “Absconder.”

ADCRR’s Constituent Services page has a video that will take you through the process that a new inmate from intake to release.  Begin by going to the Public Resources tab on ADCRR’s home page.  On the drop down menu, go to Constituency Services.   Near the top of the page you will see a video titled “Information for Inmate Family and Friends”.  Click on the video to view.  You can also view the video here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9RqEEmR-6w&t=21s

Under the “Public Resources” tab, hover over the “Constituent Services” tab and select “Inmate Information Connection.” Each of the links on the page will open pdfs with how to contact inmates via telephone and regular mail.

Go to the “Prisons & Visitation” tab, and select “Prison Mailing Address.” This will open a pdf with addresses for each state prison and their units. The address will be the unit and complex location where they are housed.

Under the “Prisons & Visitation” tab, select “Application to Visit an Inmate/Phone Application.” Follow the instructions on the page to apply for visitation either online or through the mail.

Under the “Programs & Services” tab, select “Inmates Programs & Reentry.” The links on this page will redirect you to information about programs available for inmates.

Under the “Programs & Services” tab, select “Medical Services.” Follow the instructions on the page to contact NaphCare with your medical concerns.

Under the “Public Resources” tab, hover over the “Constituent Services” tab and select “Communicating with ADCRR about an Inmate.” Firstly, ensure that your concern should be brought to Constituent Services using the table on the page, and then contact Constituent Services using the email or phone numbers listed at the bottom of the page.

Under the “Public Resources” tab, select “Public Records.” Follow the instructions on the page to make a public records request either over the phone or online.

Under the “Public Resources tab, hover over the “Victim Services” tab and select “Victim FAQ’s.” These FAQ’s will guide you through the rights and resources available to you.

On the ADCRR home page, hover over the “Reports and Documents” tab.  You will see “ADCRR Policies”.  Hover on “ADCRR Policies” and then you’ll see “Department Orders”.  Click on “Department Orders” to view the individual policies.
