Built with Intention: Our Blueprint Matching App
Adopt an Inmate is preparing to launch a new matching app built in partnership with UC Berkeley’s Blueprint. Designed to make our most detailed and labor-intensive process more efficient without sacrificing care, the app will help prospective adopters identify thoughtful potential matches while keeping people—not technology—at the center of every connection.

This week was spent assembling things. In my kitchen, that meant cabinets, drawers, and a borrowed nail gun. At Adopt an Inmate, it meant reviewing the completed handoff of our new matching application. In both cases, things are beginning to look less like piles of parts and more like something that can actually be used.
